We provide services in 10 libraries and through our website to almost 300,000 residents in 10 municipalities.

2011 - 2014 Strategic Plan
Milestones
- 1889 - Victoria Public Library created to serve residents of Victoria;
- 1966 - Greater Victoria Public Library incorporated to serve Victoria, Saanich, Oak Bay and Esquimalt;
- 1996 - Service extended to Colwood, Langford, Highlands District and Metchosin;
- 2002 - Service extended to Central Saanich and View Royal;
