Terms of Reference - Advisory Committee
Purpose
- Acts on behalf of the Library Board when situations require immediate action. All actions will be reported for ratification at the next Board meeting.
- Advises the Chair of the Board.
- Monitors and advises on the organization of the Board and its Committees.
- eviews and rewrites policy and coordinates policy recommendations relating to situations which fall outside the terms of reference of other committees.
Membership
Chair and Vice-Chair of the Board, Chairs of the three standing Committees: Policy and Program Development, Finance and Planning, and at least one other member of the Board appointed by the Chair of the Board.
