Every one has their own library story. Many give because they have fond childhood memories of taking home stacks of books from the library. Others donate because they believe the entire community benefits from a public library. Your donation helps the library offer exceptional collections, vibrant spaces and community driven programs and services.

Vibrant Library Spaces: A library is more than a place to check out a book – it is a community meeting space, a virtual office, a play zone and a sanctuary for knowledge seekers. Your donation helps us refresh and renew our spaces.

Community-Driven Programs and Services: Your support helps us expand our programs and services to instill a love of reading in kids, help people navigate the online world, welcome newcomers and support job seekers. There are lifelong learning opportunities for every age and every stage of life at the library.

Exceptional Collections: There is no limit to what you can do with your library card. GVPL lends more than six million books, magazines, DVDs and other items each year. Your support helps us keep up with the growing demand for print and digital collections.
