The Greater Victoria Public Library connects the community to many resources and services. Its mission is to provide universal access to secure and safe library services, to foster the love of reading, and to enhance the quality of life in our community.

To help the library continue with this mission, please consider making a donation of money, books or other items, or time.

The Greater Victoria Public Library is a registered charity. Donors will receive a charitable tax receipt for all eligible donations (1) in accordance with Canada Revenue Agency guidelines.

(1) The following transactions are not eligible for charitable tax receipts: A gift of service, the purchase of an item or service, sponsorship of projects for which the donor retains right of property, including intellectual property. In the case of fund-raising events where admission price includes a donation and a purchase of service(s), the Library follows the CRA’s guidelines in determining the amount considered to be eligible for a charitable tax receipt.
