GVPL is Celebrating Culture Days!

Central, Saanich Centennial, Oak Bay, Bruce Hutchison, and Juan de Fuca Branches.
Drop in to our branches this Saturday, October 1st and watch art come to life! As part of Canada's nationwide celebration of arts and culture, GVPL has joined forces with the Community Arts Council of Greater Victoria to bring you interactive artist demonstrations. At each participating branch, a local Victoria artist will be camped out, working on a project. You're invited to watch, ask questions, and maybe even try your hand at some techniques. Emily Carr Scavenger Hunt winners
Last summer, 466 people hunted for images of Emily Carr’s art hidden in all GVPL locations. One entry was drawn at each library branch to win two art books and a day pass to the Royal British Columbia Museum. Congratulations to our winners!
