"Prudence Emery, born in Nanaimo, B.C., went on to live a life surrounded by some of the most famous celebrities in the world. She was press and public relations officer for the Savoy Hotel in London, UK, where celebrities from the world of film, music, politics, and sports were guests, and in many cases social acquaintances. But the bulk of her career was spent as a film publicist, working on films throughout the world and getting to know the biggest names in Hollywood.
