GVPL News & Service Updates

April 2, 2025: Starting May 1, 2025, GVPL will discontinue Hoopla Audiobooks. You can access a wide selection of digital audiobooks through OverDrive and the Libby app, where new titles are added regularly. Other Hoopla services – including comics, movies, music, TV, and BingePasses – remain available.

This change allows GVPL to expand and improve its digital audiobook collection, ensuring more patrons have access to in-demand titles. If you can’t find a specific audiobook, you can suggest it for purchase.

Need help? Library staff are available to assist with OverDrive, the Libby app, and finding alternative resources. Thank you for your understanding as we continue to enhance our digital offerings.
