Eric is a semi-successful city novelist whose selfish behavior drove his best friend Dylan to move to the backwoods of Eastern Washington. But when Eric arrives at Dylan's tiny cabin in an attempt to reconnect, he finds Dylan has an enigmatic new friend, Jim. The three spend an awkward weekend exploring the jealousies, egos, and often-hilarious truths about what makes men bond as they chop wood, match wits, and embark on an impromptu, booze-soaked cougar hunt.
