Síntesis:
A documentary about the Free Women's Units of the PKK, Kurdistan Workers' Party, who are seasoned female guerilla fighters whose mission is to defend Kurdish Territory in Iraq and Syria and defeat ISIS. These women also embody a revolutionary idea: female empowerment. As fighting against ISIS intensifies in the Middle East, filmmaker Zaynê Akyol follows the highly regimented lives of these women who openly share with us their most intimate thoughts and dreams.
