Branch accessibility

All GVPL branches, including ours, have wheelchair-accessible entrances, washrooms, and computers. We welcome service animals.

Getting here by transit

You can reach this location via routes 38, 46, 51X, 52, and 95. We’re also just a 10-minute walk from the Langford Exchange, which provides convenient access to routes 48, 49, 53, 54, 55, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, and 64.

Parking for cars and bikes

Cyclists can lock up at bike racks outside the branch.

Free parking is available at the Danbrook Parking Lot or along Station Avenue, each about a five minute walk away. Additional parking is available along Bryn Maur Road or Goldstream Avenue.

Parking is available at the shopping centre lot for up to two hours.

What’s at Goudy Branch

We’re one of GVPL’s smaller branches and are proud to serve Langford’s growing community. Little book lovers can still enjoy a lively kid’s section. Because we have a more limited collection, we recommend placing a hold on the books you want ahead of time.

LIBRARY SERVICES

Use a public computer

We have public computers for everyone to use, free of charge. Book one for up to an hour, or hop onto any open computer until the next reservation begins. We also have Express computers available in 15-minute time slots for quick tasks.

We don’t have study rooms or pods at this location. Find a nearby branch that has a private space for you to meet instead.

Enjoy fast, free Wi-Fi throughout the library on your own devices. If you need help getting online, just ask us for help.

Print and photocopy

You can print from any library computer. In a hurry? Book a computer ahead of time for quicker printing. Black-and-white and colour printing and photocopying are available at all GVPL branches. Just keep an eye on the time as computers automatically shut down 15 minutes before closing.

Pick up a hold

Place a hold on any book or item in our online catalogue and pick it up at the branch most convenient for you. Every branch has a Holds section for reserved books, often located right near the entrance.
