Stories to Go Kit

Bedtime stories in a box for toddlers (ages 0 to 2) and preschoolers (ages 3 to 5). Each kit includes books, a rhyme booklet, and puppets to use together. Available in themes like animals, feelings, and potty training. We offer these kits in French and world languages as well. Stories to Go can be borrowed for 21 days.

Readers to Go Kit

Perfect for kids learning to read in English or French. Books are great for elementary school kids in Grades 1 and 2, and are grouped by length. Each set comes with a guide on how you can support children reading and learning at home. Readers to Go can be borrowed for six weeks.

Yoto to Go Kit

Try a screen-free audio player for ages 3 to 12. Each kit includes a Yoto player and story cards. Just pop one in and start enjoying a story right away. With a library card, you can borrow one Yoto kit at a time for 21 days.

Skill Builders Adaptive Toys Kit

Play and learn with toys chosen for kids, by children’s health professionals. These kits support sensory, physical, and communication challenges. Each kit comes with resources and ideas for how to play with the toys. Borrow one kit at a time for 21 days.

Family Picks to Go Kit

Stories help children understand the world around them. Each Family Picks to Go kit includes seven books on one theme to help families talk about interests, feelings, and big questions with kids. Some kits are about hobbies like camping or coding. Others focus on growing up, difficult life events, and topics like truth and reconciliation.

StoryWalks Kits

Make storytime an outdoor adventure. StoryWalks kits give you everything you need to set up a story along a walking path so you can read as you move. Choose from more than 30 titles in English and French. We have classic childhood favourites like The Gruffalo and contemporary Indigenous stories such as Awâsis and the World-Famous Bannock.

You can find bilingual read-along picture books in more than 100 languages with native speaker narration and English translations.
