How can I get a library card?
Anyone who lives, works, studies, or owns property in Greater Victoria or in Indigenous Nations within our service areas can get a free library card. You can sign up online or visit any of our 12 branches across Greater Victoria to sign up for a library card. Learn more
How can I book a study room?
Study rooms are bookable in person, for the current day, for up to two hours. Simply come talk to staff at the front desk when you arrive. Learn more
How can I book a library computer?
You can book a computer up to one week in advance by phone or in person at any branch. A library card is required. Learn more
Do you offer printing, photocopying, and scanning services?
All GVPL branches offer free black-and-white and colour printing and photocopying services up to 25 pages per day. Scanning services are not currently available. Learn more

Visit any branch or contact us for help with holds and renewals, lost or damaged items, borrowing materials, and other account-related questions. Learn more
