We’ve just launched our take-home board game collection!
Whether you’re a board game pro, just playing for fun, or looking for a great activity to enjoy with family and friends, there’s a game for everyone.
The collection includes more than 40 brand-new board games, including popular titles like Carcassonne, Cascadia, Dixit, Forbidden Island, Ticket to Ride, Wingspan, Codenames, Qwirkle, and Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza.
How to borrow and return
You can find these board games at Central, Juan de Fuca, Oak Bay, Saanich Centennial, and Bruce Hutchison branches. All board games can be placed on hold and picked up at any GVPL location.
Check out up to two games at a time and enjoy them for 21 days. Need more time? Renew up to two times if no one else is waiting, and place holds on games you’d like to borrow next.
When you’re ready to pass the fun on to the next player, please make sure all pieces are included and return games directly to a service desk rather than through a book return chute.
