- Fibre Arts Social: Join other fibre arts enthusiasts and work on your project in a social setting (bring your own supplies).
- Genealogical Coffee Chat: In partnership with the Victoria Genealogical Society, connect with fellow family history enthusiasts and enjoy conversations about all things genealogy.
- Shelf Talk Book Club – Bring Your Own Book: Bring a book you’ve read recently and enjoy friendly conversation at a monthly meet up with fellow book lovers. Leave with fresh ideas for your next read!
- Silent Book Club: Enjoy a chance to read your book in a comfy, quiet space. Bring your book, a cozy blanket or pillow, and your favorite mug. Tea and hot water are included.
- Tech Café: Need help with your digital devices or accessing GVPL’s digital collections? Drop by to learn how to use and troubleshoot your Kobos, phones, tablets, or laptops.
- Wish you were here!: Slow down and get offline, all while creating custom postcards and stationery. Engage in the simple, yet extraordinary, act of handwritten correspondence.
- Zine Making: Learn zine making techniques and create your own unique handmade zine!
